Terms of Use (EULA)

1. Agreement

These Terms of Use ("Terms", also referred to as the EULA) form a binding agreement between you and The One Hand — Bilal Marzouk, Vienna, Austria (EU) ("we", "us") — governing your use of the TaskSnap mobile application and any updates to it (the "App").

By downloading, installing, or using the App you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

For apps obtained from the Apple App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies; where these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA differ, the stricter provision protecting you as a consumer prevails.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own business or professional use, in accordance with the rules of the store you downloaded it from.

You may not: reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App (except where such restriction is prohibited by law); rent, lease, sublicense, resell, or redistribute the App; remove or alter any proprietary notices; or use the App to break any applicable law.

3. Subscription, price & renewal

• Title: TaskSnap Pro (auto-renewable subscription).
• Length of subscription: 1 month per billing period.
• Price: €6.99 per month, or the equivalent price shown in your local store currency, including VAT/sales tax where applicable. The exact price you pay is always shown in the App and in the store's confirmation dialog before you buy.
• Free trial (if offered): where an introductory free trial is offered by the store, the trial length is shown before purchase. Unused trial time is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Auto-renewal: the subscription renews automatically for another month, at the then-current price, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Payment: your store account (Apple ID / Google account) is charged at confirmation of purchase and on each renewal.

4. Cancellation & refunds

You manage and cancel your subscription in the store, not in the App:

• iOS / iPadOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → TaskSnap → Cancel Subscription.
• Android: Google Play → Menu → Subscriptions → TaskSnap → Cancel.

Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro access until the end of the paid period. Refunds are handled by the store that processed your payment (Apple or Google) under their refund policies. As a consumer in the EU you may also have a statutory right of withdrawal; because the App delivers digital content immediately, that right may end once the subscription has started, to the extent permitted by law.

5. What the subscription unlocks

TaskSnap Pro unlocks the full feature set of the App, including job planning and scheduling, time tracking, before/after photos and voice notes, materials and cost tracking, checklists, customer management, signed PDF reports, CSV export, reminders, and encrypted local backups. Features may be added, changed, or removed as the App evolves; we will not remove a core feature you paid for during a paid period without offering an equivalent.

6. Your content and your responsibility

All data you enter — jobs, customers, hours, photos, materials, voice notes and reports — is stored on your device and belongs to you. We have no access to it and hold no copy. You are therefore solely responsible for:

• keeping backups (the App provides an encrypted backup/export function),
• the lawfulness of the personal data you store about your customers (you are the controller under the GDPR), and
• the accuracy of any document, report, or time record you generate with the App.

If you lose your device, delete the App, or clear its data without a backup, the data cannot be recovered by us.

7. No professional advice

TaskSnap is a documentation and time-tracking tool. It does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice, and its exports do not replace the review of a qualified professional (e.g. your accountant or tax adviser).

8. Availability & warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that it will run on every device or OS version. Mandatory statutory warranty rights under Austrian and EU consumer law remain unaffected.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, loss of profit, loss of business, or loss of data arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Liability for intent, gross negligence, personal injury, or under mandatory statutory provisions is not excluded.

10. Third-party services

Purchases are processed by Apple (StoreKit) or Google Play Billing and validated through RevenueCat using an anonymous app-user identifier. No business data is sent to these services. See the Privacy Policy, the RevenueCat Privacy Policy, and your store's own terms.

11. Intellectual property

The App, its name, logo, design, and source code remain our property and are protected by copyright. These Terms grant you a licence to use the App; they do not transfer ownership.

12. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by cancelling your subscription and deleting the App. We may terminate this licence if you materially breach these Terms (for example, by attempting to circumvent the subscription). On termination, the licence ends; your locally stored data remains on your device.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the App changes or the law requires it. The current version is always published on this page with its effective date. Material changes affecting an active subscription apply from the next renewal.

14. Governing law & contact

These Terms are governed by Austrian law, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence remain unaffected. Place of jurisdiction for consumers follows the applicable statutory provisions.
